St Panteleimon The Healer

CLinical services

Counselling, Psychotherapy and Coaching Graduates of the Institute offer their services in either the fields of counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, mediation, groupwork or teaching. Some have furthered their training in other fields such as bodywork, post traumatic stress and bereavement therapy and modes of short-term interventions. Senior clinicians work as supervisors, training therapists and trainers in the Institute. The Institute holds registers of those accredited practitioners who have undertaken advanced training.

All practitioners are members of the Institute’s Graduate Association, the Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners (APP), which is accountable for monitoring Professional Codes of Ethics and ongoing accrediting procedures.

Assessments

Graduates conduct their own assessment interview for which a fee is generally charged. Some do offer low cost counselling as well as full fee therapy, details of which can be found on this website or on application to the practitioner.

Some may prefer to have an assessment and recommendation made by the Institute. In these cases, an appointment can be made by telephoning the Institute where arrangements can be made to meet with an Assessor. A fee will be charged for such an assessment.

The Professional Series

Psychosynthesis as a contextual psychology is synthetic in so far as it is able to integrate different levels of consciousness into a unified whole. The process of integration is inherent in its philosophy and methodology, thus bringing meaning to ideas that often do not seem to belong together and in fact seemingly oppose each other. This can result in a paradigm shift and have a profound affect on how we see the world and how we then act in the world.

Institute practitioners apply the principles of Synthesis clinically including those such as ‘Bi-focal Vision’, ‘The Triphasic Model’, the Will and Disidentification and ‘Right Relations’. The Professional Series aim to equip the practitioner with these principles in practical ways.
