Originally from Brazil, Alessandra is hardworking, a good listener, and has great empathy. She has been working in the educational setting with teenagers for the last five years. Before that, she has trained as a chef. Alessandra understands the pressure and workload experienced in education and fast-paced environments and the impact they can have on people’s mental health. She is also a lone parent to two teenagers and has personal experience in the changes and challenges that parenthood can often bring internally and externally.
Alessandra is a Psychosynthesis Counsellor with a BACP student and a UKCP trainee membership. She holds a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Psychology. Alessandra is currently working towards a MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology and Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling. She worked within the IAPT NHS Counselling GP referral service and runs her Private Practice in North London. She can work in English and Portuguese.
