I am a qualified, BACP registered, counsellor and also a psychotherapist in training, in the final stages of an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy. I have been in private practice since 2013 working with clients, both short and long term, with a range of difficulties, including; anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, motherhood, career change and other life transitions, sexuality, loss and bereavement.
I work from the premise that all our experiences, from the beginning of life, play a role in who we are today. In childhood, we learn to adapt to our environment, often at the cost of our more creative, vulnerable and unique aspects. Through increased awareness of your history, beliefs and behaviours, and how these impact on the way you feel, you can develop more choice and the ability to live your life more fully.
I bring a depth of knowledge and experience and can work with both women and men of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, genders and sexualities; I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Please contact me to discuss your circumstances and/or arrange an initial consultation. I work from a peaceful consulting room in central Bath.
